Unwrap Christmas: Pret’s festive menu has landed!
Delicious smells have been wafting through the Pret kitchen for weeks, and now the time has finally come for us to share them with you.
From the 4th of November, you can pick up your festive favourites and new seasonal specials at your local Pret. From sweet treats to the main event, there’s Christmas magic in every bite (and sip).
The main event
Christmas Lunch Sandwich
We’ve been making festive meals for thirty years – and this is the best Christmas sandwich yet. Every element is as delicious as possible, from the juicy turkey and port and orange cranberry sauce to the crispy little onions (always crunchy because they're freshly sprinkled on, every day). We’ve even invented a new method of cooking the stuffing to make sure it’s both crispy and chewy – won’t go into the details, but picture a large Swiss Roll of stuffing. Can you tell it’s our favourite bit?
This year, we’ll be donating £1 from the Christmas Lunch sandwich to The Pret Foundation, our charity that’s been supporting people to break the cycle of homelessness for 30 years.
Porchetta & Sage baguette
A newcomer to our Christmas menu! Our lovely Head of Food, Anna, has had a very exciting year – she got married in Italy, and while tasting for her wedding menu, she discovered some new favourite flavours.
Good for her, but even better for us – now we’ve got this new take on a classic baguette: porchetta with sage and rosemary, paired with apple for a sweet, crispy crunch. Yum.
The veggie specials
Roast Butternut, Chestnut Stuffing & Pistachio Flatbread
This year, we wanted to do something new and exciting for our veggie main... something that really celebrates the flavours of the season. After gathering insights and feedback from our customer panels, the answer was clear: Butternut. Stuffing. In a flatbread.
Pret’s Veggie Christmas Flatbread is packed with festive flavour – herby chestnut stuffing, perfectly roasted butternut squash, sage mayo, crunchy roast pistachios, crispy onions (and a touch of Christmas magic).
Brie, Pistachio & Cranberry Baguette
Having a very merry veggie Christmas? Tuck into creamy brie, perfectly roasted pistachios and classic, Christmassy port and orange cranberry sauce.
Melty and moreish
Truffle & Brie Toastie
Looking for a Christmas cheese toastie? We’ve got your answer: it’s truffle. And paired with brie, it’s a melty, glorious, Christmassy toastie – new for this festive season.
Boxing Day Toastie
Delicious, indulgent and completely moreish. It’s made up of all the best bits of a Turkey Christmas dinner – plus some extra delicious, melted cheddar and caramelised onion. It’s available on our classic Bloomer bread and, if you can find it, on our all-new sourdough in select shops. The hunt is on!
Rich and gooey
Hog Roast Macaroni Cheese
Let’s be real – it’s macaroni cheese, Christmas-ified. Pulled ham, caramelised onion chutney, cheddar béchamel, finished with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs.
Festive Truffle Pasta Bake
We seriously love truffle. Especially at Christmas. And in a creamy pasta. It’s new to our menu this year, and we can’t wait to see what you think.
The sweet corner
Mince Pie
It’s not really Christmas until you’ve had your first mince pie (although, full disclaimer – we’ve been happily munching on test batches since the 30th of October. Pre-Halloween even!). This crumbly classic is just the right amount of sweet, topped with a perfect pastry Pret star.
Melvin
Our favourite melting gingerbread snowman is back! We can’t wait for you to see his squishy little head on the shelves again.
Christmas Tiffin
Before our brilliant Fran, Senior Food & Coffee Developer, created delicious food for all of you, she was doing it for her nearest and dearest. Her family loved her Christmas Tiffin so much, she brought some into the office for all of us to try. Unsurprisingly, we loved it, and now you, and your families, can enjoy a bit of chocolate-orangey, pistachio-y tiffin magic too.
Caramelised Biscuity Bar
Not long ago, our Food Team had a day of “research” – they bought every treat they could find, ate them, and wrote down their favourite bits (not a bad gig, we think). From there, they identified their favourite flavours to create a brand-new Christmassy treat for this year. That’s the story of our Caramelised Biscuity bar – white chocolate, crispy bits, shortcake biscuit, mini mallows and a caramelised biscuit base, topped with a beautiful swirl and yet more biscuity crumbs. Utterly irresistible and just as sweet as Christmas should be.
Sip sip hooray
Gingerbread Latte
Ahh, gingerbread. Tastes best in the form of a little house – or a delicious, perfectly spiced Gingerbread Latte, served with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Frosted Mint Hot Chocolate
Chocolate and mint. Could there be a better combo? And this year, our skilled Baristas are topping this one with a dollop of whipped cream – also available hot or iced.
