Pret A Manger Launches New January Menu

Packed with Choice, Value, and Serious Flavour

Pret A Manger is kicking off the new year with a revamped January menu, bringing customers more choice, more value and a wave of flavour-forward innovation shaped by customer demand.

Starting from just £1.99, Pret’s January menu includes six half baguettes; four best-selling Pret classics – Posh Cheddar & Pickle, Chicken Caesar & Bacon, Italian Prosciutto and Pole & Line Caught Tuna - alongside a brand-new ‘Greek-ish’ baguette, a Greek-inspired recipe of British chicken breast coated in yoghurt mayo, with feta and sliced cucumber and tomato, finished with Kalamata olives and a sprinkle of fresh mint on a stone baked baguette (also available in full size), plus a vegan Avo, Olive & Tomato option.

From lighter options to warming meals, the menu also includes new soups, a new hot wrap and a delicious new porridge option, plus three seasonal Barista-prepared drinks. The additions have been carefully crafted with many inspired by international flavours or Pret customer favourites.

As soup sales soar this winter, things hot up with the addition of two internationally inspired soups: the Moroccan-style Chickpea Soup, made with red lentil, giant couscous, rich red pepper and tomato soup and seasoned with Ras El Hanout, cumin, coriander, ginger, sweet cinnamon and a hint of chilli, alongside the Rich Garam Masala Lentil Soup an Indian-inspired soup made with red and green lentils, cooked with tomato and cumin and seasoned with fragrant garam masala, coriander, onions and garlic.

And for those who love “picky bits”, Pret is also introducing its beloved Chicken Laksa as a side soup, perfect for pairing with the new half-baguette range. As always, Pret will donate 10p from every soup sale to The Pret Foundation, to help break the cycle of homelessness.

Joining the January menu is a brand-new delicious hot wrap, the Mexican Style Chickpea & Bean Hot Wrap, inspired by the sell-out success of the Chipotle Chicken Super Plate. With Pret’s hot wrap sales increasing 20% in January, this new item has been created to meet the growing customer demand. Smoky, rich and ready to go for a satisfying winter option the new addition is made with spicy chargrilled chickpeas alongside a black bean inspired mole with chipotle ketchup (both used in Pret’s popular Super Plates) and is then finished with a sprinkle of feta, coriander and melting Grevé.

Pret is also taking inspiration from its US menu this January. The Big Apple Bowl, a US-favourite which became the best-selling yoghurt when it launched in the UK in January 2024, has inspired two new hot products joining the January line-up. First is the Apple & Cinnamon Porridge topper: Pret’s beloved creamy porridge now comes with freshly grated apple and a sprinkling of cinnamon for a crisp, warming flavour combination.

Next is the limited-edition Apple Cinnamon Latte. Available until the 10th March in Pret shops across the UK, this new latte is crafted with the taste of apples and cinnamon and shortcrust pastry, balanced with Pret’s signature espresso.

But that’s not all in terms of seasonal specials. As matcha continues to rise in popularity, Pret’s data revealed that vanilla was its most popular add-on syrup and are therefore highlighting its Vanilla Matcha this season, available both hot or iced. Alongside this, coffee lovers can rejoice as Caramel Lattes make their grand return. Continuing to offer great value for coffee lovers, all three Barista-prepared drinks will be available as part of Club Pret, offering subscribers 50% off these drinks for £5 a month.
